Christine Coyne is a Biblumen Noongar woman originating from Gnowangerup in WA, whose family ties are connected to the Wagyl Kaip and Southern Noongar regions. As a direct descendant of two major Noongar families, her connection within the Noongar community is extensive.
She is a well-respected member of the Noongar community and has a direct association with many Noongar Elders. Her network within the Aboriginal community extends the length and breadth of Noongar country, across WA, and throughout Australia.
For over 10 years now, Christine has forged her own path
Christine established Christine Coyne & Associates in 2013 and continues to successfully consult to industry leaders in the private sector, plus Federal, State and Local Governments.
A recognised, highly sought-after specialist, her vast experience covers the private and public sectors and so provides unique insights into Australian Aboriginal affairs and politics.
She has demonstrated the ability to develop and implement sustainable and accountable Aboriginal Engagement Strategies at a National, State and Regional level.
Christine is very proud of her long track record of outstanding results. Prior to establishing her own successful consultancy, Christine spent over 24 years in the private sector, working for some of Australia’s leading employers including Woodside Energy Ltd, Foster Wheeler Worley Parsons, Compass Group Australia, and the Chamber of Commerce & Industry WA.
Prior to that, Christine spent ten years working for the Federal Government, in the Aboriginal Policy and Programs area.
